I could list on one hand the memories I would like to take to my grave, if that were possible. My daughter's birth, marriage to Paul, and days like today are among them. Scaling the mountains we have been looking at from a distance since starting out, takes us into a new world that for the most part leaves us breathless (literally) and searching for words to describe the vast views. In the end our enforced silence probably says far more. As the low kilometer count indicates, we are still taking small steps forward, while Nellie still recuperates. Her hind legs are still disturbingly swollen and we are considering more rest days if there is no improvement.
