Some excellent walking along ridges with views over the Cote d'Azur and the top of Monaco – we watched a vast, multi-tiered cruise boat sidle into a port half its size, alongside a many-masted luxury yacht - plus stretches where the mule paths have been been well preserved. Stopped mid-afternoon when the sun and distances started to make progress painful. Our campsite a terrace among abandoned olive trees.
